He put together a list of 15 songs that would not only appeal not only to the adult generation but the younger generation! What he came up with was nothing short of brilliant. Mike also decided to dedicate his talents to a music video of some of the songs on this recording and put them on YouTube for the world to see. In less than one month, over 1,000 visitors viewed his music video "Jolly Lumberjack Polka". When I learned of Mike's idea, I wondered how it would possible to appeal to the younger audience and the adult audience as well. One thing that can be said for most polka musicians is they pass along their ethnic heritage to their children. John Lapinski and his son Jim are a shining example.
